Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

None. EazeeSwitch runs entirely on your Mac. It does not require an account, does not connect to any server we operate, and does not transmit any data about you, your device, or your usage to us or to any third party.

2. Data stored on your device

EazeeSwitch reads and writes a single configuration file in your home folder (~/.eazeeswitch.json) containing the projects, apps, and shortcuts you choose to configure. This file:

• Lives only on your Mac
• Is never uploaded, synced, or backed up by EazeeSwitch
• Can be opened, edited, deleted, or version-controlled by you at any time

3. Analytics, telemetry, and tracking (the app)

The EazeeSwitch macOS app contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting services, and no advertising identifiers. It does not use cookies or any tracking technologies. It does not check for updates or “phone home.” These guarantees apply to the app itself; the website is covered separately in section 7 below.

4. Third-party services (the app)

The EazeeSwitch app does not integrate with any third-party SDKs, analytics providers, or cloud services. When you use EazeeSwitch to launch an application or open a URL, that application or browser may make its own network requests, which are governed by their respective privacy policies and are entirely outside EazeeSwitch’s control.

5. Children’s privacy

Because EazeeSwitch does not collect any information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6. Your rights

Since no personal data leaves your Mac, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control over your local configuration file at all times.

7. Website

This website (eazeeswitch.com) is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Routine server logs (such as IP addresses and user-agent strings) may be retained briefly by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes, but we do not use this information to track or identify visitors, and we do not run any advertising scripts on this site.

The website does load one third-party script, which we want to be upfront about:

• Canny (canny.io). We use Canny to collect product feedback and feature requests. The Canny SDK loads on every pageview from sdk.canny.io, which means Canny may receive your IP address and user-agent in the course of serving that script. Canny only collects identifiable information (name, email) if you choose to log in and post on our feedback board at eazeeswitch.canny.io. Their privacy policy is at canny.io/privacy. If you want to give feedback without loading any Canny code, email us directly at info@justadev.company.

We do not run any other analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar, no Meta Pixel, no anything else.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected in the app’s release notes.
